2.  A team shall bat in each inning until 7 runs have scored or 3 outs have been made.  (if the # 6 batter makes the 3rd out you will start the next inning with the # 7 batter and bat around until the # 6 batter ,#6 will be the last batter)

3.  Games will be 5 innings or 55 minutes. A timer will be used to keep the time and will be started by the umpire in charge of the game.  Each game will last until all innings are played or the designated time has expired.  The time limit CANNOT expire between innings.  (For example:  if the home team makes the third out before time expires, regardless of how much time remains, the next inning will be played.)

7.  The coach for the batting team will place the ball on the batting Tee for each batter, and adjust the batting Tee if needed.  The coach may not touch any live ball. In the event that a coach interferes with a live ball, the batter will be called out and the runners may not advance. This coach will not be allowed to coach base runners, just the batter.

8.  Teams may legally play with 8 players.  Any team with less than 8 players will have to forfeit that game.  Teams playing short handed will not be penalized with  the automatic out rule.  No team will be allowed to pick up additional players.

9.  Any regular roster player arriving late to the game will be added to the bottom of the batting order, and can start play immediately.

10.  No player will be suspended by a coach for a game without the softball board's approval.

11.  No baseball bats may be used, only T-Ball and softball bats.

12.  Any ball hit from the tee is in play until the umpire calls it dead. The ball remains in play until the umpire calls time out.

13. All out of town teams must submit a player roster and pay league entry fees before being added to the league schedule.  The board will have a copy of all team rosters to verify all players, and ages.

14.  For insurance reasons the dugouts are restricted to current team players and coaches only.  Absolutely no others will be allowed.

15.  Age division will be determined by the player's age as of December 31st of the prior year.

16.  All foul balls hit by the batter must be higher than the batters head and must be cleanly caught by the defense to be an out.  A foul ball on the last swing will be an out.

17.  Each batter will be given 5 swings at the ball.  If she does not get a hit in the five swings it will be an out.

18.  Any player getting sick or injured may quit play, without the team taking an automatic out.  This player may not return to this game for any offense or defense play.

19.  Batting out of order:  Batters batting out of turn will be an automatic out if appealed by the defensive team before the first swing of the next batter.  All runners advancing on a hit ball [by the person batting out of turn] will return to their original base.  Any runners thrown out will remain out.  If it is discovered while the girl is batting the right batter will come to the plate and will assume the count the wrong batter has.  Example (2 swings the right batter will have three swings remaining)

20. Only one defensive coach is allowed on the field at a time. Coach must remain out of the field of play and not impede play of the game.
