Except for the first games in each bracket all times are approximate, all teams need to be here and ready to play 30 minutes before scheduled game time.  If we get ahead of schedule we will start the games early.

T-ball and Coach Pitch

All regular season rules will apply with the following additions/exceptions for tournament play.

  1. Only one defensive coach is allowed on the field at a time. Coach must remain OUT OF THE FIELD OF PLAY and not impede play of the game. (i.e. The defensive coach may stand in front of his/her team dugout.)
  2. Teams may legally play with 8 players.  Any team with less than 8 players will have to forfeit that game.  Teams playing short handed will be allowed to play with nine (9) players without being penalized with the automatic out rule. Teams playing with eight (8) players will have to take an automatic out in the 9th batting position.  No team will be allowed to pick up additional players.
  3. Any player getting sick or injured may quit play, without the team taking an automatic out, unless that action drops the roster to 8 or fewer in the batting line up. In that case the above rule #2 applies.  This player may not return to this game for any offense or defense play.
  4. Base coaches are not allowed to interfere with runners on base. (i.e. Coaches are not permitted to push players off the base or hold players on the base.) 
  5. There will be a seven (7) run per inning rule. The final inning will be an open inning.
  6. For safety precautions all infielders must remain no more than five (5) feet forward of the baseline, prior to the ball being hit by batter.
  7. Coach Pitch: no flat pitches allowed. Pitch must have a 3' - 6' arch. The coach pitcher will receive a warning, and after the warning, any pitch that does not follow this rule will count as a strike against the batter, and will be a dead ball. (i.e. no runners may advance, the batter may not take a base if the pitch is hit.)
  8. We will use the following run rule, for all age groups: 12 after 3-----10 after 4-----8 after 5-----Mercy rule 20 after 2

10 & Under

  1. The coach pitcher must make a fast pitch throw and not a slow pitch throw. (i.e. a flat pitch, not a slow, arched pitch.) The coach pitcher will receive a warning, and after the warning, any pitch that does not follow this rule will count as a strike against the batter, and will be a dead ball. (i.e. no runners may advance, the batter may not take a base if the pitch is hit.)
  2. There will be a five run (5) per inning limit and no new innings will begin after 1 hour 10 minutes. The final inning will be an open inning.
  3. We will use the following run rule, for all age groups: 12 after 3-----10 after 4-----8 after 5-----Mercy rule 20 after 2
  4. Teams may legally play with 8 players.  Any team with less than 8 players will have to forfeit that game. Teams playing with eight (8) players will have to take an automatic out in the 9th batting position.  No team will be allowed to pick up additional players.

 

12 & Under, 14 & Under and 18 & Under

  1. All games will be 7 innings or a one hour 30 minutes time limit, no new innings after 1 hour 15 minutes.  We encourage you to hustle the players on and off the field to keep the game moving.
  2. All innings will be open.  (no run limit per inning) 12 U, 14 U and 18 U only.
  3. We will use the following run rule, for all age groups: 12 after 3-----10 after 4-----8 after 5-----Mercy rule 20 after 2
